Geomagentic Strom Causes Solar Storm
When & Where To See the Aurora Borealis
A geomagnetic storm has stirred up the aurora borealis, and the solar storm is expected to bring the northern lights to America. The best time to view the aurora is within an hour or two of midnight, or 10 pm. Ohio's weather forecast predicts that the northern lights will be visible tonight.
For the best viewing, the Space Weather Prediction Center recommends finding a very dark location away from city lights.
