Bayern Munich Complete Perfect Champions League Group Stage
Dominant Performance Seals Top Spot
WEB FC Bayern Munich completed a perfect Champions League group stage on Wednesday evening with a 3-1 win over Lokomotiv Moscow. The German champions, who have now won all six of their matches in the competition this season, finished top of Group A with a maximum of 18 points.
Clinical Bavarians
Bayern were clinical in front of goal, with Leroy Sané, Robert Lewandowski, and Serge Gnabry all getting on the scoresheet. Lokomotiv Moscow pulled one back through Anton Miranchuk, but it was not enough to deny Bayern the victory.
The win extends Bayern's unbeaten run in all competitions to 19 matches. They will now enter the knockout stages of the Champions League as one of the favorites to win the competition.
